You’re always welcome at Kidsfirst’s Canterbury, West Coast and Central Otago kindergartens, but Stay & Play sessions provide a special opportunity to find out more about the fun, learning and connection that happen at kindy. You and your child can join in activities, meet other whānau and see the difference fully qualified and registered kaiako make to children’s development.
Check out the early learning resources and the legendary big backyards that help preschool children develop at their own pace, through their own interests. These sessions are a great way to help children feel at home and show them the good times to be had at kindy.
When you come to a Kidsfirst Stay and Play session, there’s so much to do. You’ll get a feel for the kindergarten, the Kidsfirst approach to early childhood education and the experiences tamariki have at kindy.
Talk to the teaching team about the learning that is happening all around you. Ask about our 20 hours FREE, even for 2 year olds, and think about the benefits of your child coming for a full kindy week (30 hours).
