Our Ngā Whetū Stars
Each year Kidsfirst teams, individuals and kindergarten supporters are recognised for the special ways they live the Uara Waypoints through their mahi and contributions.
Teaching teams, Head Office staff and Community Champions are named as Ngā Whetū o Kidsfirst Uara reflecting their position as guiding stars who lead the way in bringing – and keeping – our values alive.
Their stories inspire all of us to reach for our own stars as we continue the proud tradition of serving the tamariki, whānau and communities we are here for.
Congratulations to all our Ngā Whetu – we’re proud to share the unique ways you weave the Uara into every day in big ways and small.
Our reliever superstars
It takes a village to keep a kindy running and Kidsfirst is grateful to the relieving teachers who help make it happen every day. This year we recognised four relievers across the Kidsfirst network as Ngā Whetū o Kidsfirst Uara – shining stars who lead the way in living our Uara Waypoints.
